Yeah, I would never claim that film is better than digital, because it isn't. It's just that I've developed (pun intended) my own analog workflow which allows me to much more easily create my work like I envisioned it originally. And I'm having a lot more fun in the process.

Well, the reason why I'm into film is not the resolution or speed, but the tactility and the artisinal feel. I really love developing film and making prints in my darkroom. So this product seems a bit pointless for me. If I want ease of use, I'll use my digital camera.

It's been more than a month since I've posted a video, but I finally managed to publish an update on the restoration of the Telefunken Jubilate 8.

I have asked AI a couple of times about transistor characteristics and/or equivalents. Every time it contained significant errors or it was completely wrong. Completely useless in this domain.

Never fun if something breaks in the RF section of a radio. Soldering 0.1mm diameter copper wires can be quite a frustrating experience.

Ik had als kind panische angst om iets stuk te doen. Dus al mijn spullen van toen zijn nog in perfecte staat. En zelfs de dingen die kapot gingen werden niet weggegooid. Zo staat mijn eerste computer hier al 25 jaar defect in de kast.

Niet echt, want ik ben iemand die niks kan weggooien. Dus ik heb quasi alles nog. 😅

It's actually branded as "High Screen", but it's a Philips TP-200.

Well, this happened. I've been watching too much of @adriansdigitalbasement.com and @janbeta.net lately, so as a result I've bought my first Commodore 64. Thanks a lot, guys. 🙈

I have my charger hooked up to 400V (3-phase 230V) in my garage. But... here in Belgium the price we pay for electricity is determined by the peak capacity we consume over a month's time. So to be economical, I have to slow down my charger, rendering the 400V connection useless. Which sucks.

I haven't done anything photography related for the past 10 months. Now I'm slowly starting again. First job: scanning a couple of leftover rolls from last year.
