Sounds pretty obvious sadly. We're making problems for ourselves to complain about and excuse other garbage actions.

Wobbly looks nice, more subtle colors let it fade into your peripheral a bit more to focus on the game screen, and the simple shapes work well with the game art. Could make it less "wobbly" if you wanted it a bit cleaner.
