Three baby bantam chicks. Tinier than standard chicks in a box with a heat lamp. A small piece of plywood is in their box in case they get too hot. It is leaning on a chick feeder with food for chicks and a chick waterer. Warm dry and playful today. ♥️

These beautiful babies were stuck in chicken wire in the bitter cold rain. Fortunately I was out and heard them crying.

Gallon jars of huge refrigerator pickles and regular size bananas for scale. Cucumbers from my garden 😋

Check these pickles out😋 Yes I know bananas don’t go in the fridge, BUT they taste a bit like a banana cream pie when they are cold & if I put them in right were they are just ripe, they don’t turn black & keep in that just ripe state much much longer. I don’t recommend pairing pickles with bananas.

I used to live there in my early twenties so seeing the place is nostalgic ♥️
