I hope the tactical fantasy combat crowd can get over the lack of hard coded conditions and turn based combat.

A lot of the complaints seem to be about a lack of defined rules and procedures, as if the game is "incomplete." But I love that.

Tiamet take the wheel and let chaos reign.

I had no expectations for Daggerheart and, like you, had a mostly positive experience.
I find it strange that a lot of people 's complaints seem to rotate around it not being enough of a DnD clone, which, I'm not sure why that was the expectation for so many people.

Anyway, great write up!
