Had to see a new doctor this morning, so naturally I had to reward myself with brunch. Y’all, I cleaned the fucking plate. Brunch rules.

Trying to be grateful while doing chemo is hard, but then I remember having 3 major surgeries (and 2 minor) in just 15 weeks. I wasn’t allowed to shower for sometimes weeks, I constantly had tubes and dressings and itchy, sticky accessories attached to me, and my abs were jelly. That was worse.

I was so excited for that high speed rail line between Houston and Dallas while my boyfriend and I were in college at either city. 20 years ago. We’ve been married 15 years now, but I’d still like that rail line.
