I like binding too! It’s relaxing, I can sit and sew and watch tv

It really was! I'm so careful about not letting the ruler slip while I'm trimming, it never occurred to me the other end of the quilt could get folded under the part I was cutting. I'll definitely watch out for that next time!

Binding my quilt!

Done trimming! Next: make the binding. But first I’m going to have that sit down and clear my head

When I first saw the cut into the batting I felt like I was going to throw up. But then it was okay! I have emotional whiplash now :)

While I was trimming the quilt got folded over underneath and I didn’t notice at first and came THIS CLOSE to slicing into the top!!!! My worst nightmare! I think I need to sit down for a minute

I did it I am 100% done topstitching! It’s going to be hard to focus on theme show prep tomorrow when I could be binding the quilt :(

Finally found some time to work on my quilt! I’m so close to done. I’m doing stitch in the ditch to anchor these long seams. Stitch in the ditch is not my favorite.
