I’m not sure how I missed this one, but it’s funny, isn’t it? The woman who went on national television and said that she didn’t anticipate the level of capitulation we’ve seen from the media and others to this administration is married to a man who is a partner at a law firm that’s capitulating…

I’m actually really tired of everyone’s obsession with the Epstein files.

We know Trump is listed in them, we don’t need them to be released to know that.

But what’s really bothering me is that everyone thinks this is going to be his downfall. It’s not.

The impeachable offenses are countless.

“Baddies”? Absolutely not. “Bad Guys”? Abso-fucking-lutely.

The crazy thing is that our government only represents those who DO NOT pay taxes (billionaires, mega corps, etc.)

Hot take: Not only are work requirements for Medicaid bad, tying health care to work at all is cruel and we should be doing it less not more.

Everyone deserves health care. Everyone.

And then voted to gut FEMA?

So he did the bare minimum a federal elected official should do?

He is not the “head of the government”.

He’s the head of a fascist regime hellbent on taking down our government, and the American people along with it.

He doesn’t care if we remain number one in anything other than wealth disparity.

Honestly though, fuck Melinda Gates. She and her husband, along with every other American billionaire, are complicit in practically every problem the world is facing today.

Rather than just racism, I’d say bigotry overall is our second sin.

I believe we’ll have much more progressive candidates in this race, and I hope with every fiber of my being, that one of them wins. We need a true progressive leader with a backbone to lead the most powerful state in the union—hopefully to lead it OUT of this union.

I begrudgingly voted for her for President, because she was the best option with the highest likelihood of beating Trump.

But her track record in the progressive landscape is atrocious, she facilitated a genocide in Gaza, and therefore she won’t be getting my vote for governor of CA.

What is a nation supposed to do when its leader is publicly committing impeachable offenses on a daily basis and the impeachment process is utterly broken due to slightly more than half of the nation's Congress being members of a cult dedicated to destroying rule of law

What exactly did he do while he was working “really hard for folks out there after the storm”?

This should apply to members of Congress as well.

I think we should have work requirements for the presidency. Limits on golf trips, a mandatory amount of hours worked per week, and clearly defined metrics for their success. If they fail to meet these requirements, they lose their job and the benefits that come with it.

They choose to be cops because it allows them to violently subjugate other people, and you can’t convince me otherwise because if it weren’t the case, our system of policing would be much less hostile to the people it’s supposedly meant to protect. 2/2

I don’t understand how people don’t believe that #ACAB.

If most were decent people, there would be so much internal pushback on the atrocities committed by the police, that the system would change on its own.

So many videos are circulating of ICE agents acting with cruelty and aggression. Behavior that eerily mirrors the “domestic terrorism” they claim to oppose. No one is forcing them to act this way; it’s a choice.

Just had a debate with my aunt which highlighted for me the importance of this message:

If you’re aren’t concerned about them coming for immigrants, and trans people, and gay people, and born citizens of minority descent, don’t be surprised when they come for you and you stand alone.

That’s the thing, the President isn’t supposed to be able to unilaterally do almost anything. There are distinct limits to what can be done by executive order, and Trump has crossed that line almost every day that he’s been in office.

The fucker should have been behind bars months (years) ago.

And any sitting member of Congress or the Senate who is unwilling to impeach and remove said President is also betraying their oath of office to defend and uphold the constitution. They are unfit to hold their positions and should be removed as well.

If you told me the sole item on Trump's domestic policy agenda was to find every endangered animal in the United States and euthanize it, it would make as much sense to me as the current Trump domestic policy agenda, which seems to have no relationship whatsoever to anything any normal person wants

There is nothing that Trump or his administration could possibly do that will get me to bend the knee.

I am not afraid.

I am not backing down.

I will never surrender to authoritarianism.

He will die eventually, and I’ll know that I was on the right side of history all along.
