I was curious about the "eggs, convent fashion" in the Dundee Courier menu and found this recipe for sliced hard-boiled eggs and onions in a white sauce over toast. Is it "convent fashion" because cheap, or as a compensation for other carnal pleasures?

I was one of them - I loved the shows and her voice, and the majestic music which opened the program which I thought she must have written. As a teenager I was in the car with my mom listening to MPR and it came on, I said "Mom, it's the Planetarium music!" She said "that's Ravel's Bolero, honey".

It really did, though perhaps my perception was influenced by having to wait in a long line! I can't remember what it tasted like, though - it wasn't the usual grape or cherry flavor of liquid meds for kids I was used to.

Purely anecdotal but I noticed way more bees and hornets at the Minnesota State Fair than in the past - every time we ate or drank anything, or went within 10 feet of a trash bin. My cousin got stung. But I got the "Stinger" from Beans & Beignets (cold brew, whipped honey, and a pinch of cayenne).
