July Recap!

Been a month where I got distracted by too many video games however managed to get some painting done. Only got four more Tyranids to do before I’ve finished the Leviathan and Combat patrol portions of them!

Wee update on my Tyranids Project. Finally got my first 20 termagants built, painted and based. Got another 20 to do from my Leviathan but loving the process so far.

First Tyranid models

Decided to paint some Tyranids from the Combat Patrol Magazine to get me out of my painting slump.

Love these models and planning to add a Martian red base to finish this model.

A pic from the last tournament I went too. This lone Guard of the Fountain Court kept this Mumak at bay for 3 turns before being trampled! This won’t be happening in the new rules 😂

Dragons Dogma 2. Never played the first but the world exploration was incredible. Story wasn’t that good though.

Finally got round to painting some Leviathan Space Marines recently. Lovely change of pace from MESBG.

Thank you! Followed Duncan Rhodes painting guide for them and they did not disappoint.

Boromir is a tank with the 6 might. His banner has been nerfed slightly but with the number of warriors at fight 4 it looks to still be a good inclusion.

Love to hear that the buff for Faramir and Minas Tirith warriors is noticed! Think I’ll be playing the brothers list with Faramir and Boromir this year.

New edition, new army! Thought I’d try out a new army list for my first tournament of the new edition. Here’s the first Uruk-hai I’ve painted in 20 years or so.
