New Scarlet Hollow episode has me rattled. Rattled! ππ
19.02.2026 13:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Congratulations Beth! Hope you have a good one ππ
16.02.2026 08:46 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Not that I don't like cooking but scary how quickly you get accustomed to not having to cook. We were in London last week and had hotel breakfast, lunch and dinner out, and I can't believe I got used to it over such short time.
16.02.2026 08:46 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0That's a sensible stance you've taken π I actually started an entirely new save because none of the saves I had felt like I wanted continue it weirdly π
14.02.2026 18:15 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What a perfect way to start the weekend! I'm going to play this tonight, I don't think I can wait until next week π
13.02.2026 16:03 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I might have asked this earlier but any mutuals using StoryGraph? π
13.02.2026 11:41 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Finns seem to me, just a bit too easily, reduce the breadth of expressions of Finnish culture into just kind of ironic, gritty realism. Like examples in video games are like My Summer Car, Finnish Cottage Simulator, Last Drop etc. But it extends outside video games too, particularly in discussions.
13.02.2026 09:07 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I liked the politeness in the UK. I greeted and thanked the Finnish border guards and they looked at me like I had three heads :(
12.02.2026 12:46 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I believe this is true of most subjects. PE, history, art, you name it. Instead of inspiring students to explore a subject and expand their abilities, we immediately grade them, putting students into categories of βgoodβ, βmediocreβ and βcrapβ. That sticks. And it stifles. Often for life.
11.02.2026 09:44 β π 6 π 3 π¬ 1 π 0I think one of the most persistent social lies we are all taught is that evil, unshackled by the need to be moral, is better at things. This in spite of the fact that every time evil is tried on a societal level, it fails. It makes everything worse, not just what it wants to make worse.
07.02.2026 19:22 β π 129 π 46 π¬ 5 π 2Update: It went great! It was so fun to catch up.
06.02.2026 20:31 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Clearly I don't have enough anxiety and stress to deal with so I also sent a message to an old friend I haven't talked with in 6+ years. I have no idea how it'll be received.
04.02.2026 13:11 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 1I'm dreaming of the day when all the apartment stuff is sorted out and I can let out the breath I feel like I am now holding in ππ»

03.02.2026 09:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0You look so badass and cool!
03.02.2026 08:19 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Guardians of Azuma is a lot of fun! π I tried it last year but it wasn't what I was vibing with at the time, and now it's just where it's needed.
02.02.2026 07:43 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There's the joy of doing a right thing and there's the feeling of knowing you made a difference β₯οΈ
02.02.2026 07:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Joking about it is fun but I'm afraid people will take it all seriously. The asshole was just really good at networking. establishing all these connections.
02.02.2026 07:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The president of Finland was reading Moomin books in a broadcast Moomin book marathon and he took two turns reading them, once in Finnish and once in Swedish. I love it π₯°

29.01.2026 21:47 β π 9 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0Thank you! Indeed, can't be too picky. I just need to get a hold of my anxiety π
29.01.2026 11:03 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Do I dare to hope it's about a job? I got an email last week from a job in my field I applied to that they'd contact people soon either by phone or by email. In this abysmal job market situation (we have the highest unemployment in the EU) it'd be godsent to get a job this soon after graduation π
29.01.2026 10:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Can't call back because it gets instantly declined, number search finds no results, and a lot of people have in the past checked up the number (but no one has marked it as scam or spam). So I am just sitting by my phone hoping they'd call me again same time they had tried to yesterday.
29.01.2026 10:11 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A missed phone call from a number I don't know is driving me crazy. I know it is neither a scam nor a spam caller, because those get flagged very fast. It's not healthcare related, because those come from hidden callers and it's not judicial because those are public. Is it abt JOB I applied to??? ππ
29.01.2026 10:11 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0But I'm so sorry this is your experience Karu! I really hope you'll eventually get a doctor who takes you seriously and you get treatment if you need any or that might benefit you π«Άπ»
29.01.2026 10:04 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0For real, issues like that can affect younger people too and well before menopausal age. Yet it's a huge blind-spot in medical treatment. I even know personally cis people who struggled for better part of a decade to get treatment just because they are/were young. I wish it was better for everyone.
29.01.2026 10:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm so terrified of heights but somehow not terrified of flying π I actually like planes π«
28.01.2026 20:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0But it goes to show the multilayered importance hormone treatment has on trans people, because everything else aside you just don't _feel_ right. You just don't feel right in your body and this time I don't even mean the dysphoric dissonance between who you are and how your body is.
