Had another crack the dreaded Jenkin Hill this morning, one of the steepest streets in a city famously built on seven hills.

Failed again and had to walk.

In addition to running six miles, I finally deleted my Twitter/X account this morning.

Having a productive day so far and not even had breakfast yet.

Felt like I’ve been coasting a little recently, so tried to chew pavement a little harder this morning. Seems to have worked too.

A sliding doors moment for us. Had Liverpool dished out the expected thrashing; the rest of that season could have gone very differently. Pretty sure that Sean Dyche was lined up to replace him and was at Anfield that night.

For me, the worst part is that Farage could use the N word while criticising David Lammy, and many of his party’s supporters would still insist it wasn’t a racist comment.

I once told my son that I had to get two buses to school. He was astonished that buses had been invented back then and thought I got there on horseback 😂

The problem they have is that all the people who used to vote BNP have got behind them. Anyone in the party who isn’t racist (and there are some) therefore has to mix with those that are and ends up constantly having to make excuses when they slip up

That’s what they say to the public; many of whom will lap it up. They keep the rest of their policies quiet (privatising more of the NHS, slashing public spending, etc.) as they don’t have the same appeal

Been saying for a while that the Reform Party aren’t racist themselves, they just use immigration control as a way of selling their hard line Thatcherite policies.

Problem with that tactic is it attracts people who are racist. And it seems that Sarah Pochin falls into that category.
