-Oil and gas refineries

The Trump administration is putting Big Oil first once again with its plans to withdraw from the UNFCCC, the bedrock of all international climate cooperation—and Americans will pay the price.

Last night, the Trump administration withdrew the United States from the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)—the foundational 1992 treaty that established the entire framework for international climate cooperation.

This is unprecedented and dangerous.

Now NYT is reporting that Trump had to let Chevron's claims expire in order to win the votes of some anti-Maduro members of Congress for passage of OBBBA.

But Chevron wanted back in, and this was part of the deliberations in the White House about escalating attacks.
