Problem today the only choice of who to vote for is the degree of right wing, center-right to extreme.

Thanks for the recommendation, Zero Altitude by Helen Coffey. Order online, just have to wait. Moving to the EU next year, not flying would be a great option, especially if I'm using my e-Brompton.

Off peak, hate to think what full fare would cost. Cheaper to fly from London to Paris or Rome.

Thank you for sharing. We need to stop this right wing evil.

Nude art can be a beautiful portrait, featuring the head and shoulders of a person without makeup. Not sure why nude art has to be of the breasts or genitals.

I find it offensive to put labels such as old lady on nude art. Nude, naked, is not hiding behind cloth, makeup, or plastic surgery. Are we too shallow to see the beauty of the folds of skin, wrinkles, and scars?

Painting featuring a woman and man kissing. The woman is on a bicycle. It appears to be raining, and they are holding an umbrella.

Next time I am in London with my Brompton, I will ride. Looks London is finally getting onboard with cycling and walking.

If you going to use delivered water, you might want to consider having tank above the main property that the tanker can access. Then just use gravity feed (no pumps). That way your water will always be under pressure. Also useful during bushfires if you have to dampen things down.

Not sure of the rainfall, but what about a tin roof over wooden structure at entrance , with drain into tank. Might be good backup, and good to drinking. But like most ideas, it still cost money.

It’s great to hear you are ok. The madness of what is happening in America, no one is safe.

I think we over analyse, it’s a picture of Sadie who just happens to be naked. It’s society that imposes these labels.

From Sydney, just keep facts correct, it was around 90,000 to 100,000 march across the Syd Harbour Bridge.

He's banning cars because they kill more birds than wind turbines, right?

If I had my way I would make it 3m rule so cars have to make decisive action.

Not sure if it would help, but in Oz we have >1m rule for cars passing bicycles under 60kph, and >1.5m if over 60kph. Its the law. That said, some drives think they are special, and law does not apply.

No pictures of the protected bike lane. Sorry, could not help myself. If only the business would realise people friendly streets increases foot & bicycle traffic and turn over.

Cycle lane in Sydney, Australia

Cycle lane in Sydney, Australia

Good to see a new cycle lane in Sydney with good engineering. Guardrails to prevent delivery trucks from parking in the cycle lane.

Wow, I always thought you just brought a train ticket at station, single or return. If only. Looks like I need to do online training before I return to UK.

Mushrooms, especially forage, not so popular in Australia.

Its not just trains in UK. In Rome I hired car for 28 days, but as I spending the last 2 days in Rome I took rental back 2 days early. Then got charged an extra 200 euro for returning the car early. Got the money back after many heated discussion on the phone 2 wks later.

Yep, in Sydney you just tap on and off. No extra for bicycle, and for for me the daily fare is capped at $2.50 for the whole day. No brainer, use public transport when you can.

So confusing. Its easier to buy air tickets to fly around the world than train ticket in UK. I also found it confusing while in England.

Miss Lancashire, spent quite bit of my early life in Gumly. All I remember is the small village and it was near the cut. Nice to see we still have wild places in UK.

In QLD (Austrslia)they interested introduced flat rate 50 cent public transport fares. Result, car congestion down, public transport use up. Is this cheaper option than building more highways?
