I can’t stand him because he’s a cheapskate who wouldn’t resign John Forslund—only the best play-by-play guy in the game today—to a new contract. He also lowballed legendary Whalers/Canes radio announcer, Chuck Kaiton, when his contract was up. Both were dick moves.

Yeah, his introduction scene where he saves Lois, saves Air Force One and captures the gang of criminals is one of the greatest character introductions in screen history.

“Fail Safe” is as terrifying as any horror movie I’ve ever seen. I 1st saw it as a teen who was just getting interested in the Cold War, and it’s haunted me for years.

He cosplays as a hillbilly, but he doesn’t have to pretend to be an asshole.

By far the best of the “Big Bug” movies from the 1950s, and it still holds up remarkably well. The fact that the 1st 25 minutes or so plays like a mystery further draws the viewer into the plot, and by the time the ants are revealed they are hooked. One of my all time favorites.

For as long as I live, I’ll never understand how this wasn’t the end of it. SMDH.
