Pretty much every single one of these new government accounts is posting rage bait. It's possible (like 100% guaranteed) they are trying to provoke people here on purpose, so don't fall for it. Blockity block block block.

Really, truly amazing that OpenAI wants us to believe that they are worth a trillion dollars but also they are so desperate for revenue that they created an infinite SlopTok app that opens them up to a billion lawsuits just so that they can maybe someday make it even worse by filling it with ads.

Refusing to "trust the experts" is meant to be a brave, responsible position.

But (as Carl explains in the thread) there is too much knowledge in the world. You have to trust *somebody*, much of the time.

If you have no trust in experts, you end up trusting the idiots.

Every reputable expert I know considers mRNA vaccine technology to be one of the most revolutionary advances in medicine in our lifetimes. Its inventors won the Nobel Prize in 2023. Shutting it down now is pointless self-harm to humanity.

Biggest joke corporations ever pulled was convincing people with no online presence into becoming salesman for products on TikTok. They get to pay pennies on the dollar for marketing and they don't have to take liability for snake oil pitches those creators say about their products.
