Robocop 3 on Amiga already had polygons on top of pre-rendered backgrounds. I imagine a flat-shaded RE would be very possible, especially on AGA machines.

Sometimes I see reviews that use strong slang that sound insulting at first, but actually mean something positive. If I don’t know the slang, I get confused about whether they’re praising or criticizing the game.

Because I didn’t have half an hour to watch the video at the time.

Should I have waited? Probably. Did I need taken to task about it? Perhaps not.

Taking the post at face value it sounded like some reasons to reject AI weren’t being addressed.

I’ve not read or watched the discussion yet, but there are plenty reasons to consider AI to be unethical, regardless of the utility of it. Environment, plagiarism, consent, etc. I’m not disputing any points being made though.
