Your not-so-friendly reminder that WI Republicans took nearly $500 million in childcare funding out of the budget on Thursday. Without it, about 1/4 of providers could close their doors and over 3/4 will be forced to raise prices for families who are already struggling with high costs.

Very sad to see Dr. Wilkerson say this is not a DEI program- it is! and she should stand by that and be proud that she is supporting diversity equity and inclusion for students. DEI is not the boogeyman- don't accept the premise of the DOGE cuts.
