Are you in possession of loads of sweet corn on the cob right now?
Here's what you do... just put it in the microwave, husk on, for three minutes. No better/simpler way to cook an ear of fresh corn. Let it cool, shuck, butter and salt that's all you need.

On the morning of the assassinations in Minnesota, I remember hearing reporting about police observing the suspect shoot Mr. Hortman, and then discovering her body much later via drone.

After return of Upper Sioux land, tribe and state look to future
The tribe plans to introduce bison on the former state park land while counties have state funds at their disposal for recreation nearby.
โBringing back bison on Upper Sioux is a reason and purpose to symbolically restore health to a people who were once starving... To our Dakota People... bison are standing beside us in solidarity of our survivability.โ www.minnpost.com/greater-minn...

Wonderful book about the richness and complexity of Black-South Asian cultural connections (in case that topic might be in the water atm), in music specifically.

What a sad day for balanced news and culture in this country. I grew up on PBS programming, as a kid and nerdy teenager. I listen to NPR and MPR every day for news and stories. Institutions like this, once diminished, will not be rebuilt without immense public will.

I am grieving the barbarism that is going to unfurl from all this. People are going to die. Livelihoods gone. All to feed a corrupt kleptocracy.
I see every day up close how different it is from the first time around. There are no guardrails. A disaster. Iโm sorry we have to live through this.
