I want my books to be fun for horror readers. I don't always or fully understand why spooky stuff is fun (for me included), but I'm trying to give my readers that experience.

A reminder that my third book comes out in October. It's such a massive expansion of everything I set up in previous books. There's this one almost sci-fi chapter that I hope is going to take up space in people's minds for days.

I love cooking because I can feel my skill growing. Dishes that I never would've considered something I could accomplish are now possible with enough prep.

Is overthinking your own writing process common? I like to imagine someone asking me, and I have this elegant, unique answer.

I adore cosmic horror

I have stared at this one corner of my ceiling far, far too many times. One time, there was a spider, there, though.

I sometimes wonder if the stereotypical writer temperment came about because writing attracts those types of people, or if writing slowly molds some people into being that way.

If you're the type of person who likes spooky stuff during the summer, a reminder that my third book comes out in October - and you'll have to have read the first two before then if you want to know what's happening.

"Pulp" has many forms (I think including Hallmark movies) and has always been around since people enjoyed reading - and I think that's great.
