I'm not jealous because having your livelihood depend on selling subscriptions on top of your spouse's finance/hedge fund manager/law firm partner salary has to be tough.

I swear the most precious of entrepreneurs are the substack writer/podcasters. Most will describe their workday as going to the gym for an 8:30 class, starting work at 10am, taking a lunch break from 12-2 and ending at 4 so they can play mahjong or get Botox.

That was a fun group! I remember being thrilled to have my 'title' approved (something something enchanted libraries) and I'm still amazed that all the Etsy merch exists today when we were getting trouble about our buttons having the @ symbols in the shape of a Mickey head.

I didn’t know how to react to the Capital One Greased Lightning commercial so I am choosing to love it.
