In 1999, I was an admin assistant for a lady with ME/CFS and she HATED having to take so much time off. She wanted to do her work. She loved her work. But the condition, which was trivialized and mocked, and understudied, kept her from living the life she wanted to live.

I just saw someone use the abbreviation “AI;DR” and I’ll be laughing for a while.

I also bring my lil tiffin in with me which makes some of the staff smile.

This is what I get every time I go to the Ethiopian place! (And I get a second one to split up for work lunches for the week.) Yummmmm!
