I beat sworn

It’s a multiplayer version of Hades basically. I had to be dragged to it kicking and screaming by friends. Then got so addicted to it I keep playing it solo.

Anyway if I want to play it now, I assume I shouldn’t just start with the new second one?

Not sure why I didn’t give Hades more of a chance. I think I get scared off things when I show up and there’s already 4D shipping wars going on. I’m too old to understand those now.

I got really addicted to this new game called Sworn. “Wow!” I thought, “what a creative game!”

Turns out it’s just a shameless knockoff of Hades, a game I should have played for more than 5 minutes.

Anyway the thing with Tony Hawk AW that it doesn’t get enough respect for, imo, is that it’s the ultimate culmination of the INCREDIBLE control scheme and game physics that Neversoft had been perfecting since THPS. One of the best games to control ever made imho.

The Gothic remaster on Switch is really nice. The updated UI and controls are so helpful.

Yeah I’ve enjoyed 2/3 but I felt like there was less interesting non-interpersonal choices in them. Also everything becomes about The Big Threat. I love in one how the universe is just operating around you. That shady corporate snow planet was my favorite.

I’m benefitting from playing the Legendary Edition versions. But yeah what I love about 1 is the Big Choices feel very immediate and you feel so much less tied down the paragon/renegade system.

It was so tough to pick between Awakening and Three Houses for me.

I have more stuff on my street now (and it’s very funny that the street is Route 66) but the 90 degree heat every day isn’t really encouraging me to head out there.
