Made a shocking discovery walking my dog on shore road beach Poole today. I always pick up any plastic I find ( that I can carry as there's so much of it)!
Today I found this Smarties cap, shocking? They have not been used since 2005!

Brings back memories of Smarties and bicycle spoke decorations from the 70's. Sad that it's in the sea after not being in use since 2005 and will never decompose.

The whole harbour is treated like a tip by lots of people.

The wonderful and the awful of Poole Harbour. Eurasian Widgeon, one of the many varieties of migrating wild fowl in our waters. Alongside reeds and banks covered in plastic waste, humans and their litter really wind me up.
