this loan was a good learning experience. i had room to err bc i know the client personally. will be doing steadily more on future loans now that i've had my hands in one front-to-back for the first time. leveling up feels good, man.

the other half is bc any nonprofit that's hiring is [a] going to pay me less & more importantly, [b] likely being managed by fools bc nonprofits are losing funding, so no directors ought to be hiring admin staff rn or for the next 3yrs. i still get to help people, mostly working class & retired.

they signed today. it's done. i did more on this loan than any prior. i'll get a small commission since i brought this one in. more importantly, they'll be able to pay their bills & buy groceries, & they get to keep their house.

days like today are half of why i'm sticking to this field, this job.

it was thou. pretty heavy shit to most ears.

some clients that walked in while i was away from my desk heard the metal i had on, commented positively, we talked about them seeing metallica back in the day, was a pleasant interaction.
but holy heckin shit was today busy. and yesterday. tomorrow will be, too. never went home w/ so many unreads.

i also had a good gym sesh w/ new the armed. kept cool on a stressfully busy workday. got feedback from clients that they feel incredibly safe with us. i don’t much like helping landlords but i love helping renters out from under landlords & helping fix folks’ financial situations w/ refis etc.
