Younger generations do need to step up and vote, but I can’t blame them for being disengaged when their concerns and needs are so hopelessly brushed off as impossible dreams. Politicians are supposed to appeal to

There’s institutional problems in terms of candidate selection, not least of which is that younger libs/lefties/progressives skew further left than the DNC is comfortable with. They’re not scared of words like socialism. But the older generation still holds the purse strings and won’t let go.
