It's the mid 1600s or so, in a kingdom somewhere in central or eastern Europe. There's fairy tale vibes, but the magic is as subtle as a brush of hands. VSQ plays at all the masquerades (and has since 2013 😤 thanks, Bridgerton), & the waltzing is way ahead of its time.

You know how it's REALLY hard to summarise a book you've just written in five words? Well, I'm currently trying to summarise four books that came out nearly 10 years ago like that.

I cannot imagine the mental strain! I barely did anything with mine, and I still didn't have the energy for it and always felt so guilty if I got behind on anything. Doing it more as a hobby is wise. Giving myself permanent repeated deadlines was a mistake.
