If you want to push back against tech's encroachment into every corner of our lives, you have to read books. They're eager to create a future in which most people are illiterate and hooked on slop, a world without imagination or knowledge. Reading is resistance.

HIMYM has some funny moments but I’m not sure I can recommend the whole show. I love Shrinking too. Harrison Ford has some great episodes.

One thing I love now is Jason Segel’s whole arc from Freaks & Geeks to How I Met Your Mother to Shrinking. It almost feels like he could be the same person and he’s so believable throughout.

The book is legendary, the films, not quite so much. Except the dinner part and Riddles In The Dark.

We think this is one of the best episodes this season.

That’s how I feel like with the I Know What You Did Last Summer movies. Is it California or is it coastal Carolina.

It got weird towards the end, but Fringe is genuinely one of my favorite sci-fi shows. I love seeing John Noble be his weird self. And the mysteries were intriguing.

I’m such a big fan of Elizabeth Moss but I could not watch The Handmaid’s Tale for how dark it is.

Oooh I am down for a good folk horror recommendation. Nice. And somehow 1970s horror is just different. We saw Possession in theaters last fall and it was pretty terrifying.

I got to watch this one with Ashley and I loved this episode that Gene wrote. It shows a Western story that shows you can take down a bully without a shootout, without glorifying guns.
