I am quoted here so let me be totally clear on my take: Jonathan Greenblatt has made a calculated choice to aid the consolidation of authoritarian power by the MAGA movement in exchange for the suppression of criticism of Israel. And the consequences for American Jews will be devastating.

Mayor Bowser has screwed over DC taxpayers by bringing a take it or leave deal on the RFK stadium and Commanders coming to DC. They are literally cutting healthcare to pay for this boondoggle.

Trump should kill Commanders stadium deal, but not because of the team's name If Trump kills the deal over the team changing its name, he'd be doing the right thing but in perhaps the most corrupt possible way.

Interesting: Interesting: The @homesnotstadiums.bsky.social campaign (which wants to stop a Commanders stadium at RFK) has filed a complaint with D.C.'s ethics board saying the team engaged in undisclosed lobbying. The team only filed its lobbying registration earlier this month.
