A flowy octopus sculpture depicting the species "Octopus cyanea", also known as the Day Octopus. It's leaning back on three arms, the others arms are curled toward its body. The octopus's arms are fully detailed with two neat rows of carefully sculpted suckers. The paintwork is a warm ochre brown with creamy pearl spots, based on one of the many color expressions of this species.

Digital Sketch study of a sulphur crested cockatoo (Cacatua galerita) on a branch, is a relatively large white cockatoo with yellow crowned feathers on top of its head. Found in wooded habitats in Australia, New Guinea, and some of the islands of Indonesia. They can be locally very numerous, leading to them sometimes being considered pests. A brilliant bird, they are well known in aviculture, although they can be demanding pets.

July 2025 #BirdWhisperer project bird is the Sulphur Crested Cockatoo!

I enjoyed sketching the bird's head from various angles with its mouth open. It was an interesting bird to observe and draw. ^^
