Trying to get a job as an artist in 2026

a little lineup of weird little guys, starting on the left with a pile of yellow dirt in a wheelbarrow with an unhappy face. Then a pair of legs in boots and orange trowsers topped by a sac filled with eyes, punctured by 3 arrows. after that is a figure with one enormous sculptural eye in place of a head wearing a lightly armoured yellow sundress. finally we have a rotund little fellow with noodly limbs, and a head that is a length of flaccid piping, one of it's hands is a morning star.

here's the lot of them so far. probably destined to be a set of stickers I think!

I don't think you can buy the set alone V2 version anymore now that it's a free service bundle combined with Canva.

I did some googling and everything I've read so far implies all your local files won't be used to train their AI but that could be wrong

Curious if you've tried any of the Affinity Tools Jack?
I was skeptical at first (especially before their big announcement which I thought was just going to be all AI features 😅) but now I might give them a go as a maybe decent alternative to Adobe.

Before being a streamer I used to be an environment concept artist for video games. With the current state of the world, I lost all ambition to do art. Recently though I started missing it a lot. I think I'll go back to basics and explore ways to find the spark again.
