Yeah I got into a research rabbit hole last night and most major cities have ordinances that the LL has to prove a tenant is at fault to charge them for it. The addendum I signed is basically “tenant inspected and confirmed no bed bugs, so any bed bugs reported are automatically tenant’s fault”
