True love is agreeing to pick up a #FBMPfind at 8.30pm on a weekday… get kids to bed, forgetting and getting a reminder message from the seller who is a 20 min drive away… for your husband to then offer to go pick it up because you hate driving at night… and he has zero clue what you’ve bought 😂

We also lust after having a good dust collector as well, major problem in our basement!!

This has done a pretty good job, only made 1 error in about 50 cuts today and that was definitely a PEBKAC kind of problem. If we weren’t potentially moving in the next few years we’d be investing in proper Festool track saw for sure.

Yes I already had a good Makita circular saw and we’re trying not to buy corded electrical tools at the moment in case we move back to the UK in the next few years, so this was a happy medium. $100 for the add on tool. That said, I really want a proper Festool track saw if we were to invest in one.

Working on building all the cabinets for around the new fridge this weekend… set up the basement as a much better workshop with a new Bora workable and got a new toy too (Kreg Accu-Cut)… wish I’d bought a track saw years ago because this is making rip cuts so freaking easy. #oldhouselove #kitchen

I joined too - but decided to keep them connected. It’s interesting how it auto publishes between the two apps depending on whether you have attached media or not.

They just announced Flashes in beta today! Go check out the Bluesky feed and sign up for the beta. It’s interesting with both accounts connected and the auto publish between the two, but I like it so far and being able to designate all sorts of feeds for yourself. No stories yet though
