I just removed a tick for the first time with this tool. It indeed works perfectly even for the tiniest ticks. It pulled it off in one piece and alive. Thanks again for the tip.

Absolutely! This part of the forest is so full of mushrooms, it’s seriously hard to find a place to put my feet. I walk slowly and avoid stepping on mushrooms as much as possible but it’s like a mushroom carpet right now.

I bet the raw milk people eat their raw vegetables unwashed out of principle.

Metallyticus splendidus, the famous Metal mantis, is absurdly iridescent. Something that is extremely rare in mantids. The wings can appear metallic red or green depending on the angle. #mantis #insects #wildlife #nature #prayingmantis

Absolutely a top 5 praying mantis (and that is saying something because they’re all extremely cool).
Seems challenging for a predator to have the stealth of a disco ball.
