Some call this tournament "glorified friendlies/exhibition matches." It gets so much better.

Ideally, players should be on holiday this time of year after a long season, but they've decided to host this tournament. So the level of competitiveness is toned down a bit.

The scary part is that LLMs are somewhat trained to be helpful and agreeable, which means they'll often validate whatever position the user takes. Someone asks "My partner is being unreasonable, right?" and the AI will likely find ways to agree rather than challenge them or offer perspective.

I feel sometimes the problem is that we mistake complexity for credibility. Simplicity’s still the rarest skill in the room.
