It seemed exciting, though, and I when I went to my first game, I met the supporters' groups, and they welcomed me, gave me a flag to wave, and let me march with them

I had been drawing river segments on the cpu to a texture, and then reading that texture on the gpu. I changed it to draw river segments on the gpu directly.

At my house, we re-use these as root-beer float glasses. :)

Growing up, one of my father's best friends was an Ethopian professor, so I so I had exposure to black academics early on. I had a Ghanaian professor in college and I had a Kenyan professor in grad school.

I think that's it, though, for black male teachers. None of them born in the US.

We just traveled through Italy, Greece, and Turkey. Didn't meet a single unfriendly soul. Wait, no, there was that one carpet merchant in Istanbul!
