THIS IS SICK!

Epstein’s victims say Ghislaine Maxwell was worse than Epstein. She groomed and delivered girls to him.

Now she pleads the 5th across the board & offers to clear Trump’s name in exchange for clemency.

Send her evil ass back to doing hard time instead of the cushy camp she’s in now!

The US cutting off oil to Cuba is truly one of the most depraved acts it is possible to imagine. Hospitals will close, food production will collapse, people will starve. It is urgent for US citizens, and every sane person, to oppose this barbarism with all their might.

AOC on Cuba: This is what we've seen with Gazaβ€”a new era of depravity. There used to be stated protections for innocent civilians, and now it's almost acceptable for the Western world to look the other way as people are starved or deprivedβ€”simply because political actors or regimes in that country are found objectionable.
What we're seeing is the possible precipice of hospitals running out of fuel. Innocent children and women could be put in harm's way. It's incumbent upon all of us to defend human rights no matter where...

Conservative Party faces significant financial loss after convention voting devices go missing | CBC News Conservative convention organizers are urging delegates who may have walked off with pricey voting devices to return them to the party so it can avoid incurring significant unexpected costs.

The moral of the story?

I can’t stop wondering how many of the women that were in these labs and offices are reading these emails and realizing - maybe for the first time, or potentially again - just what kind of people they worked for.

I think it would be a reasonable counter to ICE tactics to gear up like them, employ their ambush techniques (only do it better than those clowns), and deport them ten states over, or maybe in Mexico, with just their clothes. No wallet, phone, or id. Laws don't bind them, so it seems fair to me.

The G.O.P. Senator Who Can’t Stop Thinking About the Boy ICE Detained

Representative Joaquin Castro of Texas said in a post on social media that he had picked up Liam and his father, Adrian Conejo Arias, from the Dilley detention center on Saturday night and escorted them to Minnesota on Sunday morning. He shared photos of the two on social media, including one showing Liam at the airport clutching what appeared to be a Pikachu toy and wearing a Pikachu backpack.

Mr. Castro was part of a delegation of Democratic lawmakers who visited Liam and his father at the detention center last week, where he said Liam’s father had reported that the child was β€œvery depressed” and hadn’t been eating well since they were detained earlier this month.

This is a remarkable @nytimes.com split screen:

A huge 3,526 word + photos profile on Sen Britt who "can't stop thinking about the boy ICE detained"

But Rep Jaoquin Castro- who actually got Liam Ramos out of detention & back home- gets no interview, no pix, just 116 words inside a story. WOW.

My suggestion is that the NY Times profile politicians who are not just thinking about kids detained by ICE, but actually doing something about it, rather than enabling it.

Crazy how simple just prioritizing people and their well being instead of donors or personal power makes things better.

Mamdani: "I speak of Renee Good, whose final words to the man who murdered her were, 'I'm not mad at you.' I speak of Alex Pretti who died as he lived, caring for the stranger. ICE shot him bc he did something they could never fathom ... let us offer a new path: one of defiance through compassion."

Everyone still working for ice should get 20 years in jail. And that's if they didn't do anything noteworthy like personally murder someone. This is a soft moderate position that doesn't involve wood-chippers.

Virginia’s New Governor Ends ICE Program. Local Contracts Remain, For Now. - Bolts Abigail Spanberger left the 287(g) program, which empowered state law enforcement to detain immigrants. Will Democrats also bar local police and sheriffs from the program?

NEW: Abigail Spanberger this afternoon ordered that all state agencies leave ICE's 287(g) program.

This means that the state police (and some other agencies) will no longer be empowered to detain and arrest people for ICE.

Big, big move by the governor within weeks of coming into office.
