I was happy to see the βsandwich guyβ was found not guilty today. He was very open-faced at his sub-sequent press conference despite being grilled by the media, and denied that he had ever used a club against officers. Obviously a well-bread young man. Anyway, thatβs a wrap.

As a Jays fan, I can now appreciate how Edmonton Oiler fans have suffered the past 2 years, especially when your nemesis is a powerful, loaded team from the southern U.S.
But Goliath shouldn't rest easy...David will rise again!

The celebration of the life of my friend Darragh Mogan will take place at West Royalty Community Centre in Charlottetown on Thursday October 30, 7:00 p.m. Darragh passed away October 12, aged 79. Family, friends, DVA, NDP, Ellenβs Creek Watershed Group, PEI Symphony, etc. were all part of his world.

So Polievre wished Freedumb Convoy leaders a happy life? Does this guy seriously even want to be PM? How many votes did that statement just cost him, especially in Ottawa? Did losing Carleton teach him nothing?

I wore my lucky Blue Jays World Series sweatshirt today, personally autographed by Duane Ward himself at the Charlottetown Dairy Queen. But the Jays don't really need luck against these Yankees.

If Canadians needed another reason to jettison our costly, outdated monarchy, the upcoming spectacle of the actual English king cosying up to the wannabe American king should suffice.
By the way, didn't diplomacy used to be an honourable profession, not just kissing the butt of autocrats?

Watching the Apple TV+ broadcast of a Friday night Jays game for 1st time (after sign-inβs, QR codes, passcodes, 2-step verifications, etc.) Honestly, as imperfect as Sportsnet broadcasts can be, I donβt think SN executives are losing sleep about this competition. Different, though, for sure.

Just in time for Canada Day, our new "elbows up" PM bows to Trump after previously insisting the digital services tax would not be rescinded. The White House then crows that Canada "caved." Why must these world leaders always deal with Trump in such a spineless manner?

The Blue Jays not playing on Victoria Day is a mystery to me, especially since they just completed a 3-game series yesterday *in Toronto* and begin another home series tomorrow. C'mon, MLB, shoehorn another afternoon game into this stat holiday so we're not all stuck gardening for something to do!

Do's and Don'ts for Carney in Washington:
-Don't smile. Look unfriendly and tough.
-No MAGA hat, thumbs-up or goofy-grin poses with the Dictator.
-Speak French to the media as much as possible. Makes Donnie feel left out.
-As soon as you arrive, start looking around for the exit.
