WHO press conference Feb 11/20. Dr Mike Ryan is shown leaning in to whisper to Dr Tedros G. indicating he should read the note Dr. Ryan has written on the paper in front of him. Immediately after this, Dr. Tedros lies and changes what he had JUST said (the truth that SARS CoV2 is airborne) and suddenly claims he only meant airborne in the "military language" meaning - an explanation which no one understands.
And 16 days later, Feb. 11/20, Dr. Ryan convinces Dr. Tedros G. to retract the truth that SARS2 is airborne, they share a laugh and the unrestrained worldwide massacre has never looked back. This, to me, is <the> turning point of this pandemic and has led directly to untold, ongoing devastation.

This paper is interesting for a few reasons. It shows that mask mandates in healthcare protect patients from infections, and removing mask mandates in healthcare harms patients.
A facility without a mask mandate is making a *deliberate choice* known to harm patients.

The other piece is that when we actually look at the use of the word endemic—both currently and historically—there is an implicit and sometimes explicit part of the definition of that term that means a disease is endemic when the people who are bearing the burden of infection and disease are people who we don’t really care about.

You can require masks. You can distribute free N95 masks. You can educate people that COVID is airborne.
Unless you are doing all of these things, you have no right to say "people are tired." The fault is yours.
