I know I'm an MG man so my judgement is clouded, but I drove both a Boxster and an F on the same day at Thruxton. I found the F better to drive on the limit. But as I said, I may be biased and of course the Boxster limit was probably much faster than the F!

I was supposed to have been there racing in the Thundersports support race, but I wrote the car off the meeting before - also at Brands. It's to my eternal sorrow that I missed this little slice of history.

My parents owned an MGB in this colour, it was an aftermarket respray. I did like it, but then that was late 70s and anything other than beige was appreciated! Ultimately we resprayed it Mallard Green, a very dark BRG

I went completely the wrong way on this but I did better than Wordle in the end!

I had an MG Metro and the one restraining factor both on the road and in the kudos stakes was the 4 speed gearbox. Apart from that I loved it. Had it from new, RAM502Y
