I always triple check pyjama day because I'm afraid of this and one year the teacher announced a pyjama day on Friday (triple checked email) but everyone else ignored it because it was also class photo day (not in my calendar), so my kid is in a fuzzy moose onesie in his class photo.

Lol, what? She stopped after 3 seconds of chasing, so if they did tell her to stop, she complied immediately.

She chased them for 3 seconds and then stopped, how do you know that someone didn't yell out "Stop It"?

I'm actually being empathetic, understanding that young kids make mistakes and parents can't prevent them all, rather than being insanely judgy and assuming the whole family thinks it is okay to torment animals based on a few seconds of video.

There is no sound, we have no idea if a parent yelled stop, and we don't know if the person recording is the parent. The kid chased the birds for 3 seconds, not enough time to run across the beach and very easy for a parent to miss seeing.

Yes! I have a vivid memory of this from my childhood, reaching to touch the coil burner. I knew my parents said to not touch because it was hot, but I had no idea that level of hot even existed!

26.07.2025 18:43 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Exactly! This kid is young and still learning and may not have been meaning to upset the birds. Parents can't pre-teach every scenario and this whole incident happened in a few seconds, not even enough time for a parent to intervene.

Google and Meta search both report that Cape Breton Island has its own time zone 12 minutes ahead of mainland Nova Scotia time because they are both drawing that information from a Beaverton article I wrote in 2024

Right-wing outlets win legal battle to attend the leaders' debate | CBC News Two right-wing media organizations have won a legal battle to obtain accreditation for their representatives to cover tonight's election debate.

Listen, if Rebel News gets to ask questions, @thebeaverton.com should get to ask questions. Let me ask Pierre if he thinks my biological clock looks fertile enough. I'll wear a blazer and everything. Don't deny me my rights, you cowards www.cbc.ca/news/politic...

Michael's Non-Travelling Travel Guide to Italy

Italy is one of several places in the world. It is located in Europe, thus making it easily accessible from nearby places in Europe. Italy is best known for having four consonants in its name and only one vowel; an impressive 80:20 consonant/vowel ratio. This makes it different to Spain, which has two vowels and Mozambique, which has more than two.

The first thing that strikes you about Italy is its shape. Daring to be different from other countries, Italy has chosen to contort itself into a shape reminiscent of a long boot. This makes it the ideal destination for visitors who enjoy countries that are longer than they are wide.

In contrast to places like Atlantis and the Mariana Trench, plenty of Italy is comprised of dry land. This makes it a very inviting tourist destination for people who do not have the ability to breathe underwater.

The one downside to Italy is the only place to visit in the entire country is Rome. We know this because no other places are mentioned on the map.

In conclusion, I have enjoyed the time I've spent reviewing Italy and have no hesitation in awarding it a rating of 529.

I've always wanted to be a travel writer but I don't really need the hassle of travelling to different places. Luckily I've found that travelling isn't even necessary for this job. I can review everywhere without leaving the house. Here's my review of Italy
