Michael's Non-Travelling Travel Guide to Italy Italy is one of several places in the world. It is located in Europe, thus making it easily accessible from nearby places in Europe. Italy is best known for having four consonants in its name and only one vowel; an impressive 80:20 consonant/vowel ratio. This makes it different to Spain, which has two vowels and Mozambique, which has more than two. The first thing that strikes you about Italy is its shape. Daring to be different from other countries, Italy has chosen to contort itself into a shape reminiscent of a long boot. This makes it the ideal destination for visitors who enjoy countries that are longer than they are wide. In contrast to places like Atlantis and the Mariana Trench, plenty of Italy is comprised of dry land. This makes it a very inviting tourist destination for people who do not have the ability to breathe underwater. The one downside to Italy is the only place to visit in the entire country is Rome. We know this because no other places are mentioned on the map. In conclusion, I have enjoyed the time I've spent reviewing Italy and have no hesitation in awarding it a rating of 529.
