Wow, I’ve seen videos from other Duke games, but this is something else entirely. What an electric crowd!

You can have online communication with them, but you have to spend some time breathing the same air. That’s who will show up when things get difficult.

Getting involved in their local community and helping to make it stronger and more organized. That’s how we’ll be able to fight fascists when they come to town.

Also really cool to start talking about a candidate and then be able to say “oh yeah, those are her kids running around your yard” A personal touch you don’t get with most political campaigns.

It’s nice to be reminded that politics isn’t always toxic. I went out canvassing with a local candidate and her family. So many lovely conversations with voters, especially the nice couple who invited us in for cookies while we talked about public schools and defeating ICE.
