Yesterday me and my daughter wanted to book cinema tickets but they only had three left together other than in the first row. Wouldn’t let us book two so we went to a later showing at a different cinema. It’s a ridiculous rule.

I once contacted my local council to ask why there was no bus service where I lived. They replied that the area I lived in was too ‘upper class’ for a bus service. It was a Barrett homes new build estate of one and two bed houses and flats.

One of the oddest is reinserting things that were missed out of the original recordings. For example, on The Doors first album they censored the word high from the line ‘she gets high’, but reinstated it 50 years later. No one’s ever heard that version before but now it’s the ‘official’ version.

Just received an application for an IT role from someone whose experience looked a little suspicious. Checked out their LinkedIn profile, still suspicious. Checked their profile photo against an AI checker and it came back with a 100% probability that the picture is AI created.

14 yo sent me a text while I was asleep saying ‘don’t use the bread, it’s mouldy’.

I *loved* Radiohead, saw them several times, the last one being the Oxford South Park show after Amnesiac came out. One of the best live shows I’ve ever seen.

I had an MRI on my knee. They told me not to move my knee; they put padding around it. They put me in feet first and only as far as they needed to.

There’s no way you can have an MRI scan and not know which bit of you it’s on.

You can’t have an MRI and not know what they were looking at, they have to pad the area they are getting the image of and they give you specific instructions not to move it. And they don’t put your whole body in, just the bit they need.
