Voyager. "Family" was played up in many seasons with heteronormative relationship arcs (Janeway & Chakotay's thing, everyone horny for 7of9, Kes & Neelix, Tom & B'Elanna, even the Doctor had family in one episode) or people being pregnant (Wildman, B'Elanna, Seska, even Kes had an "almost" episode).

KC stands for King's Counsel (QC was Queen's Counsel). An appointed title for exceptionally skilled and experienced barristers (or solicitors) who have demonstrated excellence in advocacy. They're considered among the best in the UK legal profession and are (usually) highly regarded for their work.
