We bought our house 3 years ago and replace a chunk of lawn every year with #nativeplants. The diversity of invertebrates, birds, herps, and mammals increases every year and it’s so exciting to see!

The former owners of our house built a fire pit around the ground-out stump of a dead tree. Last fall I filled it with the soil from my veggie containers. Today I planted Dukat variety dill in the pit and had a giggle. May the Prophets forgive me. #trekthings
