Tuesday: Shabana Mahmood attacks an international human rights body for pointing out the UK is likely breaching its legal obligations to trans people.

Wednesday: five months after publishing transphobic legal guidance the EHRC, a month before it has to defend it in court, takes it down.

The EHRC at this point is just an extension of the trans-eliminationist ("gender critical") movement. Just another "GC" group. But the Council of Europe's intervention clearly has them panicked and now they're scrambling to get their Labour lackeys to implement this despicable Code of Practice.

This is the most perfect example I've ever seen of the extremely common tendency for British people to fantasize that whatever they're doing to minorities is reliably much more decent than whatever America is doing to those same minorities.

This is the same mentality that allowed Labour to become complicit in the genocide to begin with. These MPs simply don't grasp the enormity of what their government has done, or the horror and revulsion felt by a significant chunk of their voter base. I predict this will be worse than Iraq for them.

It also speaks to how utterly evil I believe they are that I say this outright on a non-private platform. I probably shouldn't! It would better for me not to! But my blood boils when I think what these monsters are doing; and that's to say nothing of their deepening anti-migrant policies too!

Labour however are a theoretically centre-left party. They are a party previously linked with progress for LGBTI+ folk. To enthusiastically embrace hatred against trans people the way this government has is a deeply sickening betrayal, and it's the fact it's such a betrayal that engenders my hate.

The Labour Party is quite simply an anti-trans hate movement by this point. I cannot emphasise the degree to which I actually hate the party. Hate is a very strong word, and I don't use it lightly: I have never felt the depth of contempt for a party I do for Labour.
