Abundant housing, abundant transit, & abundant bike lanes in our cities occupies a lot of my thinking. I'm sure other pieces of my personality will peek through over time. Consider reading: https://medium.com/@markusjohnson2195

Here's that slide.

app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary/...
@emilymoore.bsky.social or @volts.wtf did the house just completely punt on legalizing balcony solar in Washington state this year? The substitute bill that looks to have passed the house doesn't have balcony solar language that existed in the original bill

However, I also would be surprised if any owner who grew up in the US would choose to move their team to Canada. There's not a lot of affinity for living abroad amongst NBA circles
12.02.2026 19:35 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Dog restrooms are increasingly being added as an amenity to apartment buildings. Rooftop locations however pose an exceptional risk, particularly where cast-iron drainage piping is installed (required in many areas). Urine is corrosive to cast-iron and will leak through into penthouse unit ceilings.

If the NFL just left your city, probably a no. Unlikely Ohio big enough for two teams and even a Cincy/Lexington combo shouldn't be alluring enough to move.

Outside of maybe moving a team back to Vancouver BC, what's the US city they would move to if expansion happens? I'd call their bluff

That means two city markets off the list for where Portland could conceivable move to. Also, you have to get majority vote from the rest of the owners to move a team (little secret not talked about much).

Keeping transit facilities clean and safe is very important for transit riders to get around. And using agency time on preventable maintenance is waste that could be reallocated to more service.
