I'd say ecosystem vibrance. What I often think of while playing - especially with kids - is different reasons for why the goals for each animal are what they are. I have fun explaining to my son why each animal in different phases of its life might want different things. Winning when thriving.

@mikeflanaganfilm.com are there any future theatrical rereleased planned in the US for the life of chuck? Where I lived when it came out didn't have any showings, but I've just moved to an area with more theaters with many more screens.

What do you mean by the image has become characterization?

At low tide, ochre starfish (purplish color) hanging on to sea cave wall while eating. The tube feet of the star are seen taut on the bottom visible arm, attached to the rock.

Chiton on a wet boulder surrounded by low profile moss like growth.

Very small blue starfish next to some punch hole sized anenome. Thumb on right size of picture for size comparison. Starfish is about the size of a quarter.

Velella or By-the-wind sailor is blue and resting on moist sand, an exposed rock is in the upper right, and a trail of seaweed comes from the top of the picture draping down next to the Velella.

Love chitons. On our last few Oregon coast trips we have seen By-the-wind sailors everywhere.

Tiny Towns is officially out on BGA today! Right now you can play with the base game cards in Master Builder, Town Hall, or Solo modes, but the expansions are on their way as well!

This is fantastic, love tiny towns, but now I can play with distant/foreign friends and family.

What's a game you wish existed, either in theme, or in specific design elements?

A theme I would love to see is rock and mineral collecting/curating/selling; not in a generic sense, but in a more Audubon guide detailed way like wingspan/finspan/verdant.

Also I includes solo mode as well. Great version on BGA. Since the beta started I've been playing with my friends in Germany. Thanks for approving this version @flatoutgames.bsky.social

Have you seen the work that Turbine in Germany has been doing with 3d Blu Ray releases? I'm sure there are way too many out of reach heavy levers that would need to be pulled, but I missed seeing elemental in 3d and regret it everyday.

Added it to my library, love stuff like this. I have all the Nvidia and AMD tech demos backed up. This is a perfect demo in that vein, makes me think of a much much tamer mad mod mike experience. Will run it one day. The minimum specs are well beyond my capabilities.

I enjoyed it a lot. So cozy and fun to explore, great for listening to a podcast while playing. It's a little too feature dense, but it's also easy to ignore some of the extra options it suggests on the smartphone.
