A deli cup full of dirt and in the midst one tiny little pinkish grey tarantula about the size of a shelled sunflower seed. She is sitting with her little feet kind of just splayed out in random directions.

A smooth, silky looking chocolate brown tarantula with a cocoa-colored carapace sitting on a giant sheet of webbing. Her abdomen and three back feet are resting in a webbed-over deli cup and the rest of her legs are scrunched up covering her eyes. She is larger than the deli cup, which is the same size as the cup in the first picture.

I've had this orphnaecus sp. quezon blue tarantula since she was a little speck. Here's a picture of her 5 years ago and another one today. Same size deli cup for scale in both pics.

The front lines in Portland remain bleak. Today the local coffee-shop/bookstore/meditation space ran out of oat milk so I had to have soy in my favourite new latte.

Look at the badonkadonk on this poecilotheria metallica tarantula!

Caught her out sitting funny at the top of her cork bark. Of course when I started taking photos, she slowly walked away.

I haven't enhanced the colors. Blue is her signature color.

Just tested this and it's true.
