For voidcat's kidney meds we've been mixing them into a churu on a plate b/c she eats all of that more reliably than her regular wet food. I hope you find a way to get all the meds into her!

Stone fruit bruchetta! Giant pile of stone fruit (did nectarine, apricot, Italian plums, & cherries), some heirloon tomatoes, balsamic, olive oil, honey, lemon juice, s&p, basil, & that aglio et oilio seasoning from trader joes. All on little toasts and topped with burrata & more basil

A plate piled high with stone fruit bruchetta topped with chunks of burrata and torn basil. Several also have pieces of prosciutto

Yeah after thinking about it I wouldn't expect anyone who wasn't from the pacific/explicitly studied to be aware of anything beyond disaster movies/TV plots

My mom is from Wisconsin, but my dad's coastal. They just also have been through hurricane iniki & several previous tsunamis so it's old hat from high ground

My parents are going to be incredibly them about the tsunami advisory/warning (Hawaii is expecting 1-3m). They're at elevation so their plan is drink wine, watch the coastline from the lanai, and listen to the tsunami sirens

Yeah, they're both sweeter than lactose on its own & now they're doubled. Though now I'm wondering if ice cream made with lactase treated milk needs less added sugar to be as sweet

You are right & correct about this (Greek dressing for potato salad, so good)

I mean, an end product of the lactose breakdown is glucose? (And galactose)

Chicken katsu caesar slaw continues to be a banger meal. At most (for me) it involves frying pre-sliced chicken & tossing bagged slaw w/ store-bought dressing, at laziest I pick up an order of katsu & rice
