Watched Fright Night for the first time today, oh how I wish to be dodging trig homework and slaying vamps

Agreed. He is a classic old school number 10 and I absolutely love that. Not that many players around anymore like that so he offers something very unique

Only caught the second half of the Wolves game but we were dreadful๐Ÿ˜† I think it's just a case of Frank being sensible/pragmatic and focusing on building a solid defence (as in a whole team that defends together), and then a fluid/exciting attack later basically. Hoping that second part will come

Same. I'm really hoping he does. Fantastic player and personality for the team. I rated him highly at Leicester for years and always felt he should have got many more caps for England over the years

I mostly agree with you on this. Our defence is just as good as it was back in those days and that is the only area of the squad that truly is

I think Kudus and Odobert have the potential to be. Especially Kudus. The more and more he gets into the swing of things, the more effective he will be I think

Depending on how much game time he gets in the next couple of months, a loan in January to another Premier League side who would start him may not be such a bad idea, to be fair

I think that's being very harsh on MGW and Eze though imo. Those are two elite, highly confident Premier League stars. Also, we need to remember we still have Kulu and Maddison, who imo when fit are players, you could argue, could start for any top Prem team. Kulu at least, I think so

If any Spurs player makes the Premier League XI come the end of the season, or gets a nomination for player of the year - who do we think that could be?
Personally I think Van de Ven, Romero and Porro are the only ones who could. Maybe Bergvall a dark horse for young player of the season? Who knows!

Close enough

That may well change now with Levy out of the picture. I do think Simons is a brilliant signing though. Hasn't slotted in straight away but given some time to adapt to the league etc. I think he'll come very good. Overall, I was impressed with the business we did this summer and so far it's working

I think Gray is the answer for that. He is an intelligent holding midfielder with a very good eye for a pass, he just needs time and patience. His main detriment is that his tackling needs work and he needs to be more brave in his defensive work in general. But that will come with time

30.09.2025 13:55 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I think Gray is in the same kind of mould as Palhinha in terms of that his natural position is holding midfielder, he's just not physically imposing in the same way because he hasn't matured yet. I think with some time and work he can become an extremely good, well-rounded defensive midfielder

Mate sorry but Sarr has been fantastic so far this season! I also think him and Gray are very different. Sarr is more of a box-to-box and he's an engine, whereas Gray is more of a 6, I just don't think he's matured into an elite level player in that position yet

Chicken bacon and wine pasta bake On the bond between food and grief

Wrote a poem about my mum, who passed away three years ago. She made the best pasta bakes, and this is an ode to the purity and intimacy that only food can bring, and how food can help us to cope with grief. reubensaunders.medium.com/chicken-baco...

Decent shout actually! I have a massive soft spot for Toy Story 2, but the third is definitely my favourite

Only watched the second half against Wolves, oh man that was hard to watch, but I will take the point! Good teams manage to avoid losing when they play badly, so it's a positive sign

I know what you mean, but this early success is based on the firm foundation of what Ange built in the last two seasons, and Frank is a manager who really seems very smart and flexible enough to deal with later problems when they inevitably arise. I also think we have more depth now

Long time no see Bluesky, just wanted to pop by and say Spurs have had a pretty darn good start to the season, haven't they??

What a result for England last night! And congrats to Spence for his much-deserved debut. Hopefully the first of many appearances for him in an England shirt. James on the right and Spence on the left England's best full-back options?

Having a coffee in Sarajevo right now. Sounds like something James Bond would do.

Okay to be fair Madeira and Sao Miguel are equally stunning. But yeah, Montenegro treated us very well, feel blessed to have been able to experience it

Spent 6 days in Montenegro and it was breathtaking. Never seen such an abundance of natural beauty in such a small space before

Thank you for everything Son. My favourite football player ever and the one I try (and dreadfully fail) to emulate whenever I play 5 a side footie. A legend of Spurs forever. (Deserves a statue!) But now you've given us the glory, go and have some fun wherever you want, you've earned that right

Would probably give it a 4.5 veeeerging on a 5, exactly my kind of film haha

One thing I don't miss about Ange is the constant siege mentality and intense discourse that came with him. I miss him a lot and he's one of my very favourite managers ever and a true Spurs legend, but that is one silver lining. At least things feel a little more calm with Frank
